This small shack sat along Route 148 (across from Captina Creek near Mooney Hill) over fifty years ago. We would drive by it regularly on trips to visit extended family in Powhatan Point, Ohio. It was occupied by a man who would sometimes pleasantly wave as we passed. I often wondered how lonely and difficult of a life he might have had living there by himself.
