They look so happy and well cared for. I'm truly sorry. Dogs are one of the most pure creatures on this earth...they're simply happy to be with us until the end. I hope you find peace in the time you have together.

One of the hardest thing as a friend to animals. They remind me of my dog I had as a kid, Fuzzy. (I was obsessed with the Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't really fuzzy, Wuzzy? nursery rhyme as a child.) I know that while this is going to be so hard, I have no doubt that you have provided them the best life and will make this change from here to the next as easy and gentle as it can be. Give them a kiss on the head from me and the five cats, friend. xo
