We all have the potential to make those around us feel lonely
It could be just one more drink, line, tablet or toke - or something as innocuous as ignoring a tender gesture, another smartphone scroll, yet another television program, or the pull of a slot machine. Sometimes, it's a few less words or the lack of an arm around or the comfort of a hand pressed onto the chest or upon a shoulder.
We all do it to each other at one time or another and there's so many ways to do it. Often, it isn't even intentional.
But if you do, please make me lonely with the work of your creative hand and the good you do for others. In that way, it may be alone but it won't be as lonely.
Some people are often lonely,
Even people that are seldom alone.

Even people that are often alone.
