I clearly remember the birth of each of my four children, even though the most recent was more than thirty years ago.  But more so, I  remember driving home from the hospitals and crying more than I cared to admit.

Going forward 15 years, I was lucky to be with their mom when she took her last breath.
But driving home from the hospice that day, I didn't cry.  Not because I wasn't sad but because with her, I had been given four great and immeasurable opportunities to welcome new life into my family...and since then they have all proven to be unique, kind and caring adults.

As I age, I realize that this was substantially due to the immeasurable grace and goodness their mom left carefully in their hearts.
