Poison and Wine

Before ending my career, our company had a retirement and investment company present a few sessions of financial planning and I didn't really care to attend. When it comes to 401k's and how to do any kind of asset allocation or rebalancing, I simply would ask a friend that enjoyed that sort of thing. More than a few folks remarked negatively and some even ridiculed me for this or at least were amazed that "I didn’t care".

I don't care?

I want to ask those same people, if we had sponsored a meeting on how to best help people they love or how to feed finches, or how to help someone who is grieving, or how to bring comfort to someone who is sick and dying, or how to write poetry, or the benefits of kindness and tolerance, would they be interested in attending these sessions?

I don't care?
