Pay it no Mind
Jun. 13th, 2021 08:36 pmAs I become older, the notion of the pursuit of being "right" against another's "wrong" is beginning to feel less and less important.
Wait. What? That doesn't seem to make sense.
I've seen so many divergent notions throughout social media, and in some ways each opposite end of an ideal can often be just as right as it is wrong. It can be exhausting as well as saddening.
If we decidedly conduct our lives this way, could it possibly change our brain chemistry in some subtle and unexpected way? I'm just not sure.
Of course there are principles that do have a proper side in terms of ethics, character and morality but much of this is forgone in negative discourse.
It feels important to point out and celebrate the good in others and I need to remind myself of this more and more as I age.
