Two-Cycle Oil

This is the 1957 Lawn-Boy that I used as a kid. I was about twelve when I started tearing it apart and today I can reassemble it nearly in my sleep. It weighs a mere 36 pounds and doesn't have much horsepower but is beautifully simplistic and practical. It also probably meets few of the present-day Consumer Product Safety Commission standards.

Years ago, my father would use a walk behind Gravely tractor to mow the lots in the remnants of my grandparents' farm fields and I would follow up  trimming with the Lawn-Boy.

I still use this mower and love its history.
