Someday, I should be so lucky in the frailty of my own body and mind, to have someone’s hand that I might hold to provide them some form of comfort. I suppose until we breathe our last, we all have something important, lasting and nourishing to give. It may not shovel the snow, mine the coal or make the bed, but it will always be so much more and certainly will never unwind into nothingness as all the bodies of our lives.
